In these terms and conditions:
- "essentiallywhite.co.uk", "website", "site", or "service" means the on-line service provided by us at www.essentiallywhite.co.uk from time to time.

- "you" or "your" means the person using this site or named in the registration details (if any) accompanying these terms and conditions, or the recipient of goods.

- “cancellation period” means 7 workings days from the day after the date of receipt of the goods.
- “working days” means all days other than Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

We agree to provide you with the service in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The service will be provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We cannot guarantee that the service will be provided fault-free and we do not undertake or warrant that the service will be free from defects.
We may temporarily suspend the service either partially or completely for any reason. We will restore the service as soon as reasonably practicable after a suspension. We will not be liable to you for any loss which you incur as a result of any such suspension.
The pages contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical errors. The information in these pages may be updated from time to time and may at times be out of date. We accept no responsibility for keeping the information in these pages up to date or liability for any failure to do so.

Colour and Specification
We endeavour to ensure that the descriptions, specifications, colours, and prices are correct at the time of updating them on the website. Due to the variations in colour reproduction on computer monitors we cannot guarantee that your monitor displays any colour accurately.
Payment of Order
Unless stated otherwise (e.g. 'Sold as a set of 6'), the price detailed alongside a picture refers to purchasing one item of the specified size regardless of the number or size of items displayed in the picture. Stock availability, when detailed, will advise you of the number of items available in stock and also refers to purchasing one item of the specified size.
Payment by credit/debit card will be taken at the time of placing an order.
All prices displayed are in GB Pounds Sterling, and include V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) at the prevailing rate for the goods or services being supplied.
Order Confirmation
Your order will normally be confirmed by email for Internet orders.
Delivery of Your Order
Delivery is entirely dependent upon supplier lead times. Due to the fact that some products are sourced from abroad and/or are handmade to order it can take longer than 28 days for your order to be completed.
A physical address is required for all deliveries, and box numbers will not be accepted.
Delivery Charges
In certain circumstances the delivery costs may be higher than shown on the order form due to the size/weight of the product ordered or the delivery location. We will advise you of any additional costs should the situation arise.
Information Collected and What We Do With It
Placing an order with Essentially White Limited over the Internet requires you to provide your name, address (as held by the card issuer, including PostCode), telephone numbers, email address, credit/debit card number, card expiry date (and issue number or start date for Switch or Solo Cards). You may also be asked for a small amount of additional security information which you, as cardholder, will know.
Credit/debit card information is processed by a third party approved by WorldPay (UK) Limited, and therefore at no time is your credit/debit card information stored by Essentially White Limited.
In order to process your order it may be necessary to divulge your contact telephone number to our delivery company in case they need to contact you.
Your email address may be used by Essentially White Limited to advise you of new products, special offers etc., unless you advise us otherwise either in writing or by email to unsubscribe@essentiallywhite.co.uk.
Essentially White Limited uses secure server software to protect the data you provide each time you place an order. The software converts the computer data and messages to something incomprehensible, before you send it to us, by means of a 'key', so that it can be reconverted only by an authorised recipient holding the matching 'key'. This minimises the risk of the data being intercepted before we receive it.
Credit/debit card information is subject to 128-bit encryption, which is the highest level available.
Essentially White Limited is registered with the Data Protection Registrar under registration number Z8232639. By using the site www.essentiallywhite.co.uk you are consenting to the collection, processing, and use of the information you provide for the purpose of administering your order, processing payment, fraud detection, and for our own marketing uses. We will not pass your data to third parties without your prior consent.
Returns
In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your order you must send us a notice of cancellation, in writing, within 7 working days of delivery, detailing the reason for your dissatisfaction. You may deliver the notice by email, post, or leave it at the address detailed within these terms and conditions.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE RECIPIENT OF GOODS SUPPLIED HAS A DUTY OF CARE FOR THE GOODS WHILST IN THEIR POSSESSION, AND WE REQUEST THAT THE GOODS ARE RETURNED WITH THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING.
With the exception of faulty merchandise, for hygiene and safety reasons we cannot exchange or accept the return of certain items which have been opened and used. This applies to all linens, mattress toppers, duvets, pillows, blankets, throws, towels, bath robes, and children’s clothing.
Unless there is a manufacturing fault, or the goods were damaged in transit, goods will be returned at your own cost. Essentially White Limited strongly recommends the use of Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (signed for) for goods returned, and cannot be held liable for any losses in the postal service.
Where relevant, please follow the wash care instructions supplied with your goods very carefully. We cannot accept items for exchange or refund if they have been washed.

We will not accept packages where the postage is unpaid and we do not refund postage charges outside of the cancellation period.
We do not send out confirmation of receiving returns so please enclose a stamped, addressed envelope in the parcel if you would like to receive a copy of the returns receipt.
For goods returned outside of the cancellation period please note the following:
- Returned goods received by Essentially White between 8 and 14 working days after initial delivery to you, and without a written notice of cancellation having been received within 7 working days after the customer took receipt of the goods, will incur a 10% administration charge.
- Returned goods received by Essentially White between 15 and 30 working days after initial delivery to you, and without a written notice of cancellation having been received within 7 working days after the customer took receipt of the goods, will incur a 50% administration charge.
- Goods returned after 30 working days will not be refunded.
- Please note that your right to return items does NOT apply to items that fall into the following category:

Cancellations
Please note that you are entitled to cancel an order provided that you exercise your right not longer than seven working days after the day on which the items ordered are received.

Essentially White Limited is not responsible for the content of these sites.
Matters beyond our reasonable control
If we are unable to provide this service because of something beyond our reasonable control such as technical failure, lightning, flood, or exceptionally severe weather, fire or explosion, civil disorder, war, or military operations, natural or local emergency, anything done by government or other competent authority or industrial disputes of any kind (whether or not involving our employees), we will not be liable for this.
Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by English Law and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
