Duvet Covers

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. Peter Reed’s classic Hemstitch has remained unchanged for decades. 100% Linen Union with a solitary row of hemstitch around the border and packaged with their Red Ribbon. Perfect. Their Linen Union is made from a mix of 60% linen and 40% Egyptian cotton, at 160 grams per square metre.

This duvet cover has bottom button closures and is made with allowance for 5-8% shrinkage, which will occur during the first few washes of the item. In line with industry standards practice, duvet covers are labelled with residual size after expected shrinkage.

All Peter Reed duvet covers are finished with a double over lock and safety stitch for long durability in laundering and bed making.

Labelling & Laundering Care
All Peter Reed linens are labelled with European and US standard washing instructions, and also include a generic size sewn-in label for easy identification and housekeeping. Cotton should be washed at as high a temperature as possible and, for best results, with a low concentrate detergent. Ironing is recommended whilst the fabric is damp.
